YACMAC believes that this annual celebration is a fantastic platform to celebrate and showcase our culture within our local community. The NAIDOC Ball is a decorous occasion in formal attire and will be held at the start or closing of NAIDOC week each year.
Multiculturalism has long flourished in the City of Karratha and the Yaburara and Coastal Mardudhunera Aboriginal Corporation wish to encourage positive change and positive relationships in our community. The NAIDOC Ball is an opportunity to draw Indigenous and non-Indigenous people together in a celebration of all things Pilbara and embrace the celebration of NAIDOC Week.
